Filian is an independent North American VTuber known for full-body 3D slapstick on Twitch and a huge clip presence on YouTube. She brands herself tongue-in-cheek as a “VTuber in training,” but the channel is one of the clearest English examples of 3D-first Virtual YouTubing—not a Hololive Live2D chatting crop.
Why she matters
Filian shows that indie VTubers can scale with movement comedy and events (including founding/hosting The VTuber Awards) without an idol-gen contract. Compare career paths in agencies vs indie. Fans also organize on Discord/Reddit-style communities; discovery tips sit in VTuber Reddit.
How many years has Filian been a VTuber?
Filian’s modern VTuber breakout is usually dated to late 2021 (directory debut 27 October 2021), so late 2026 is about five years as a full-body 3D Virtual YouTuber—after earlier PNG-style phases.
Has Filian done a face reveal?
No official face reveal. April Fools and bit “reveals” are entertainment, not a durable IRL debut. She is known for the 3D avatar on Twitch, not facecam.
What technology does Filian use?
Primary on-stream look is 3D with full-body tracking (earlier PNG phases). Pipeline is 3D VTuber software + OBS into Twitch—not Live2D Cubism as the main stage look. Do not clone the character art.
How many followers does Filian have?
Approximate public snapshots (not live API counts): ~3.1M YouTube subscribers (clip/main channel scale). Numbers move weekly—use the official link buttons on this page for what is live today. BeTuber rankings are directory snapshots, not a billing dashboard.
How much money does Filian make?
There is no verified public salary or annual income figure for Filian. Creator revenue typically mixes subscriptions, bits/Super Chats, donations, merch, and sponsorships (plus agency contracts where applicable)—amounts stay private unless disclosed. Anyone posting an exact “net worth” without a primary source is guessing.
