These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to the public website at betuber.com and its language versions (the “Site”), operated by BeTuber (“we”, “us”).

By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Product apps (for example app.betuber.com) may have additional terms. If they conflict with these Terms for that product, the product terms control for that product.

The Site

The Site provides editorial guides, directories, and reference material about VTubing. Content is for general information. It is not legal, financial, immigration, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for reading current platform rules (Twitch, YouTube, and others).

Some articles discuss adult creator platforms. Those pages are intended for adults.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under the digital age of consent in your country (often 16 in the EEA), you may use the Site only with consent of a parent or guardian as required by law.

You must not use the Site if applicable sanctions or export laws prohibit it, including the restrictions described in Google’s publisher sanctions rules.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe others’ rights
  • scrape, overload, or interfere with the Site in a way that harms us or other users
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
  • introduce malware or abusive experiences
  • generate invalid ad clicks or impressions, click your own ads, or ask others to click ads
  • disguise ads as navigation or as our editorial content
  • impersonate BeTuber or misrepresent an affiliation with us
  • post or transmit content that is illegal, including child sexual abuse material (we will report it)

We may block access if we reasonably believe these Terms were violated.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, the Site’s text, design, logos, and compilation are owned by BeTuber or our licensors. You may link to public pages and share short quotations with attribution. You may not copy the Site for a competing directory or republish articles in full without permission.

Names, models, and trademarks of VTubers, agencies, and software vendors belong to their owners. Directory profiles are descriptive reference, not an official agency wiki and not a download of avatar files.

User submissions

The public Site does not offer open comments. If you email us, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that correspondence to operate the Site and respond. Do not send confidential ideas you wish to keep proprietary.

Advertising

The Site may display ads served by Google AdSense and, where disclosed in the Privacy Policy, other vendors. Ads are labeled as advertisements or sponsored content. Ads are not endorsements.

You must not click ads except out of genuine interest, and you must not use any method to inflate impressions or clicks. That is required by AdSense program policies.

The Site links to third-party sites and may embed a demo from vtuber.betuber.com. We are not responsible for third-party content, cookies, or practices. Their terms and policies apply.

Affiliate or “buy” links, if present, may earn a commission. We will not let that change factual comparisons.

Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Software versions, prices, agency rules, and platform policies change; verify them at the source before you spend money or sign a contract.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BETUBER AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SITE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF TEN U.S. DOLLARS (USD $10) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR ACCESSING THE SITE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (usually zero).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify BeTuber against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

We respect copyright. If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with:

  • your contact information
  • a description of the work and the URL of the material
  • a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorized agent
  • your physical or electronic signature

We may remove content and, where appropriate, notify the poster. Counter-notices may be sent to the same address.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The updated date on this page is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Site.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless a mandatory consumer law in your country of residence says otherwise. Courts in California will have jurisdiction, except where you have a non-waivable right to sue in your home courts.
